Finite-time Stability and Stabilization of Linear Time-delay Systems

چکیده

In this paper, finite-time stability and stabilization problems for a class of linear time-delay systems are studied. Firstly, the concepts of finite-time stability and finite-time stabilization are extended to linear time-delay systems. Then, based on methodology of linear matrix inequalities and the Lyapunov-like functions method, some sufficient conditions under which the linear time-delay systems are finite-time stable are given. Moreover, to solve the finite-time stabilization problem, stabilizing static controller is designed. Finally, two examples are employed to verify the efficiency of the proposed methods and to show that the obtained results are less conservative than some existing ones in the literature.
